The wilstow 1200lb hand winch is perfect for both marine and trailer use due to it being made of steel and coated in a dacromet finish. Dacromet is a high performance coating that is often applied to protect and reduce the risk of embrittlement. The winch includes a strap and hook making it easier to attach it to what you need to pull or move. The handle arm on the winch is also made of steel and the handle itself is rubber. The weight that this winch can take is up to 1200lbs (540kg) and the ratchet goes both ways meaning that the strap can be undone and done up by the handle. The winch has 3 settings for changing which way the ratchet can turn. If the lever is pushed down the strap can be undone, if the leaver is in the middle it is neutral meaning that the strap can be undone and done up again and if the lever is in the up position it means the strap can only be done up again.
